ABRAFAS - Brazilian Association of Producers of Artificial and Synthetic Fibers, created on November 7, 1968 as a representative entity of the producers of manufactured fibers, is a non-economic society that currently congregates the companies involved in the production, transformation and commercialization of fibers Artificial and synthetic fibers, responsible for almost the total value of the production of these fibers in the country.
Still within its basic principles and objectives, ABRAFAS has sought to represent, coordinate and defend the interests of the manufactured fiber industries before public and private entities, national and international, always seeking to reconcile the interests of its associates with the needs of the market.
Throughout its existence, ABRAFAS has sought to be recognized by the various segments of the society with which it interacts, as an indispensable interlocutor of the sector and to continue being an entity respected for the credibility, participation, degree of contribution and competence with which it operates in the ambit of the markets , Both domestic and Latin American. Artificial and synthetic fibers are present in all moments of Brazilian life.
