Code of Conduct

Abrafas bases its performance on six pillars:

• Continuous work to improve the competitiveness of the chemical fiber industry.
• Encourage fair and balanced international trade, and respect for the international treaties to which the country is a signatory, preserving the interests of the industry installed in the country.
• Encourage the chemical fiber industry to work continuously towards sustainable development.
• Encourage the technical and scientific development of its associates, as well as the establishment of partnerships in the production chain.
• Continuously encourage best practices related to safety, health and the environment.
• Ensure ethical relationships, defend free competition and observe constitutional legal principles.

Ethics and integrity committee

The CEI was constituted in 2021 and its members are representatives with a history in the sector, being responsible for establishing compliance suggestions, submitted to the entity's Board of Directors.
